Following the success of Peppa Pig turning on the Christmas lights in 2013, Peppa and George will be returning in the February half term.
Queensgate shopping centre has got a treat in store for little shoppers this half term, as Peppa Pig and her brother George will be visiting the centre on Friday 21st February.
Britain’s favourite cheeky little piggies, Peppa and George, will be entertaining the crowds during narrated storytelling sessions held in Central Square, outside Primark. Storytelling sessions will take place at 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm and 6pm.
Further adding to the half term excitement, there are a host of events planned at the centre for all ages. These include, for Mum and Dad, an introduction to Italian wines at Carluccio’s on Wednesday 19th February and for the kids a pretzel rolling competition at Auntie Anne’s on Saturday 22nd February. Sam Eastwood, centre director at Queensgate, comments: “We wanted to give the families of Peterborough an exciting event for half term. Peppa Pig was a great success at our light switch on and we look forward to welcoming her back along with her brother George.
With many exciting events planned throughout the week, Queensgate has plenty of fun on offer to keep the whole family entertained.”
